LEADERSHIP TEAM MEETING

MESSIAH LUTHERAN CHURCH

Attending:  Jim Bacon, Pr. Fege, Pat Gerew, Rick Harz, Joann Ireland, Denise LaBov, Jim Romano, Chris Sorenson

Excused:  Mel Wunder

Pastor opened with prayer and a short homily.

The minutes of the 7/13/10 meeting were reviewed and approved.

The treasurer's report was reviewed and accepted.

Correspondence:  We received an update on our and other congregation's benevolence giving.

Pastor's report:  Lonna Remsen and Ruth Keck wish to join the congregation.  LT OK'd and they will be received at the end of August.

Committee Highlights:

Learning reports that Sunday School will be discontinued until Rally Day.  Pat Gerew will attend a synod training for Sunday School teachers and then teach the workshop here at Messiah.  Pastor will be instructing the confirmands during adult
